I can't get my head round this....

Hi Guys/Gals,
I attacked to this Gauls village, he has no troops what so ever but I still lost/captured my troops. Why? How? I'd really appreciate if an exprerienced member can explain where I went wrong.

Prehaps it coul of been the "Gaul Tarrper", Gauls can still inprison troops providing they set the traps, also wall and residance lvl plays a part.

Yeah, if you have a high level palace/residence you can lose small numbers of troops. As some were captured there were less to "fight" the village so more died from the base defence. If your much bigger than them it is worse too.
