reinforcing big players is something i've seen my hubby do - he isn't in an alliance and as he's attacked most of the villages close by, i won't let him send troops to me (sounds mean - but he has to learn to defend himself). So the only place where he can send his troops and guarantee they are safe is with his attacker. I believe its becoming quite a common tactic but you've obviously worked out how to deal with that problem already

Every now and then i find i have to suicide a couple of troops (i wish there was a cancel button when you build them, lol). Rather than just wasting them, I was wondering if you might be able to gain something out of it - the theory is - supposing i build a phallanx or something by mistake and send him to an unused village as reinforcement, if i then attack that village with my hero - would i get hero points?

Since more and more of us are coming under attack now i thought it might be a good idea if i had a plan ready to put into action to protect my offence troops. The question i have is this -
I have a village where i have built more or less only offence troops, that village has an oases, if i sent all those troops to reinforce the oases would they still be killed? The reason i ask is because when you look in the rally point it lists the reinforcements at the oases as 'troops in the village'.

theres a section in rockyroads university bit about cata's - its got all the numbers of how many you need for each level in it, theres also a section on dealing with attacks

I've been watching a 9c for a week or 2 and will have enough cp on sunday to send settlers there as my 5th village. The thing I wanted to know is - I've seen on a lot of the bigger players profiles, 'warnings' to other players including allies about not moving into their areas, a TST player has just started a new village right next to the 9c that I want - assuming that he doesn't beat me there anyway, what is the protocol regarding me claiming it? This player in particuler doesn't have any such comments on his profile but if I claim it am I going to be in for a load of grief or are the profiles I've seen just blowing hot air?

thought i'd post an update - it turned out to be a fake, a lone spearman who looked rather silly trying to attack nearly 2000 def troops . Just goes to show that TS squares can make it hard to work out whats coming tho, if anyone knows of a chart/table that includes TS square levels etc for working times out - i'd be really grateful if you coould let me know please

I've got an incoming from tuetoburian forest -39/-41.
I saw the attack launch (i was online at the time) at 05:21am today. It will take 26:28hrs to reach me and arrive at 07:50am tomorrow(thurs 15th April).
I had just launched 4 cata fakes at his 4 villages which will take approx 44 hours to reach him and i have a level 5 TS. I'm having trouble working out whether he has a higher level TS than me or if its rams, troops and no TS etc.
I'm guessing its a fake as theres only 1 wave(at the moment) but if someone is better at working this out than me please - I'd be really grateful. I have tried to contact the relevant people but travian seems to be a bit of a ghost town today and no one is online

Looks like I've gone into idiot mode again - I thought I'd get a head start on scouting all my usual farms to see what they've been up to during the ceasefire, I thought I'd read all the info very carefully - obviously not! I was under the impression that you can't kill anyone during the ceasefire so I only sent out 1 scout to each village instead of the usual 4 or 5. I've now had 2 reports like this -

Probably shouldn't have asked the hero question at the same time, I've ended up getting sidetracked (easily done when you're me, ). I still don't know what the point of totally destroying a village is - are there points etc involved? or is it just for the sheer satisfaction? I'd be very grateful if someone could answer this please?
