Homeright i have done this in different alliances and found it to be effective. i am romans so to bolster my defence i swop 50 pretorians for 50 phalynx or spearmen preferably both. also paladins and other cavalry are excellent in defence. it gives you the edge in an attack as you have all the bases covered. unfortunately you cannot do this is attack as these troops are fixed in your base. i am open to offers for defensive troops gauls or teutons or both , blocks of 50 please. i suggest you do this with all your friends and it will make us very hard to beat.
